(Events are published as soon as we are made

aware of them)

January 22, 2017, New Orleans In 2017, the Order of St. Lazarus observed Unity Sunday by worshiping with the St Andrews Episcopal Church congregation on South Carrollton Ave., at the 10am service that Sunday.   As an ecumenical Order, they worship on Unity Sunday every year with a different tradition.  Mr. Hugh Straub, (LIC Associate Member representative), said, “We greatly benefit by using this special day to appreciate and respect the variety of ways we Christians honor our Lord.”

January 25, 2017, Alexandria:  The Episcopal Diocese of Western Louisiana hosted an annual Week of Prayer Service beginning at noon on Wednesday, January 25th, at St. James Episcopal Church, 1620 Murray, in Alexandria.

February, 2017, New Orleans:  Fr. Buddy Noel of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New Orleans hopes to hold an ecumenical prayer service in February in the New Orleans area.  We will post information on the LIC website when we learn more about that one.
